This comprehensive apartment transformation demonstrates our ability to reimagine inefficient spaces into cohesive family homes. The existing property presented a disjointed layout with lengthy, featureless circulation corridors connecting isolated rooms and awkwardly positioned living areas.
Our design response focused on complete spatial redistribution, creating exceptional living spaces and a dramatic entrance sequence that fundamentally transformed the family’s daily experience. The resulting arrangement establishes natural interconnectivity and flow throughout the home, ensuring every square metre serves our clients’ exacting requirements while enhancing the property’s inherent potential.
The project presented unique technical challenges due to historic structural defects within this section of the Mansion Block. These complexities necessitated detailed Licence to Alter agreements with the management agent, requiring careful navigation of strict building parameters. Through comprehensive historic archival research and strategic opening-up works, we developed a thorough understanding of the building’s structural history, enabling us to propose solutions that satisfied both regulatory requirements and our clients’ aspirations.
