The existing property had three separate stairs connecting the various levels of the dwelling creating a disconnected, confusing internally arrangement which required refurbishment throughout.
Our proposal sought to reconfigure the property to provide one central feature staircase that connected the home whilst improving the sense of space, natural light and volume with internal improvements throughout.
Given the properties location within a Conservation Area, a sensitive design approach and continued dialogue with the Local Authority was required to achieve the required permissions. The project included delicate interventions such as an Orangery extension to the rear, new Juliette balconies to the rear façade overlooking the spacious gardens, a decorative ceiling to the newly formed Formal Living Room, first floor extension and terrace leading from the Master Dressing Room and full internal refurbishment.
The property now benefits from Air-Conditioning, Intelligent Lighting and Heating Systems plus Gym/Wellness spaces.
