Stop-Motion Video of our Mews House Redevelopment in Kensington; showing the careful demolition (by hand) of the rear extension and exisitng roof, installation of new steel structure and timber mansard roof extension, with Shire Piles & Quick Base formation and SIPs Extension following. This project is particularly complex as the root network of the neighbouring tree required us to hand excavate, with carefully located piles and floating slab over. The SIPs Panels are highly sustainable, lightweight to reduce loading whilst being incredibly efficient to construct. The foundation, slab system and erection of the walls and roofs took under 3 weeks! Can't wait to share more as the project furthers....
